Sacha Baron Cohen stunned his fans with a brand new ripped physique after his wife Isla Fisher posted a workout video on Instagram.

The actor was seen doing some bicep curls with heavy 28lb dumbells in the footage posted by his wife, Insider reports. Fisher wrote in the caption that her hunky husband, 48, had “worked so hard” to transform his body for his role in the Netflix drama ‘The Spy’. He was even nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actor for the role. “He worked so hard transforming for his role in The Spy- not just getting rid of his dad-bod (see video) but learning three dialects, including Syrian and living in Casablanca, mainly in character for 4 months while shooting,” Fisher wrote.

Cohen is seen in the show taking on the role of Israel’s most prominent spy Eli Cohen, who infiltrated the Syrian government in the 1960s. However, the ‘Borat’ star seemed to impress his fans and fellow Hollywood stars more with his new ripped body.

Mindy Kaling commented: “great now I’m turned on,” while Chelsea Handler wrote: “It’s important for us all to realize that Sascha is indeed hot.”

The couple tied the knot back in 2010.

Cohen recently grabbed headlines after slamming Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg for not fact-checking political ads on its site, saying that if Facebook was around during the 1930s, he would have allowed Hitler to post advertisements targeting the Jews.

The British comedian also took a swipe at the heads of tech giants Google and Twitter for acting as “the greatest propaganda machine in history” for hate groups and allowing fake news to overtake real news online. He made the statement during his keynote address before the anti-Defamation League (ADL) in New York on November 21.

Cohen also denounced the popular social media sites and search engines for “facilitating… all this hate and violence” that has led to “surging” hate crimes and a rise in “murderous attacks on religious and ethnic minorities.”
